Believing that the relationship between the therapist and the client is an essential element for therapeutic progress, Ian practices in a humanistic, non-judgmental and compassionate way, integrating other modalities as appropriate, such as CBT.

Whether working on a one-to-one basis or in groups, Ian’s more senior experience has facilitated an easy relationship with clients of all ages.

Ian is informed by his professional training and his life experiences, along with the work of Carl Jung, Carl Rogers, John O’Donohue, John Bradshaw and others.

Typical of the issues he has dealt with include anxiety, panic attacks, depression, loss of motivation, relationship challenges, family issues, suicidation, anger management, low self-esteem, and bereavement.
